Terms of Use
Last updated July 27, 2026
Brim is a product operated and sold by Monica Waymire, a sole proprietor trading as "Brim", located in Topeka, Kansas, United States ("we", "us"). By creating a Brim account or using the app, you are entering into an agreement with Monica Waymire and you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
Your account
You must be 13 or older, and old enough to form a binding agreement where you live. Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for activity on your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access.
Your content
Everything you add — events, notes, lists, photos — belongs to you. You give us only the permission needed to store it, show it to your household, and process it so features like scanning work. We don't claim ownership and we don't sell it.
Acceptable use
Don't use Brim to break the law, upload content you don't have the right to upload, harass anyone, or attempt to access other households' data. We may suspend accounts that do.
Scanning and AI features
Scanning and voice notes use automated systems that sometimes get things wrong. Always check extracted dates, times, and ingredients before relying on them. Brim is an organizing aid, not a guarantee that nothing will be missed.
Reminders
Reminders depend on your device, your notification settings, and network delivery. We do our best, but we can't promise every reminder arrives on time.
Availability and changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features. We'll give notice of significant changes when we reasonably can.
Subscriptions, payment and billing
Brim is a paid subscription. Plans are $5 per month, $25 every 6 months, or $40 per year, each starting with a 7-day free trial. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel, and the price shown at checkout includes any applicable taxes.
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund terms are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms, and our own Refund Policy gives you a 30-day money-back guarantee.
You can cancel or manage your subscription at any time from You → Subscription → Manage billing, or at paddle.net.
Our intellectual property
Monica Waymire owns the app itself — its software, design, branding, and documentation. You get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Brim under your chosen plan. Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer, or work around the limits of the app.
Suspension, termination and ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from You → Delete my account. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends you can export or delete your content; anything remaining is removed with your account.
Disclaimer and liability
Brim is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for missed appointments, lost data, or other losses arising from your use of the app.
